The Churchill Smiles Dentistry team is passionate about continued education and bringing patients the latest in treatment, techniques, and dental technology to our Mississauga dental office. The team wants their patients to be active participants in their oral care and are excited to answer any question. They also hope patients feel cared for and experience every appointment with ease and comfort.
Dr. Al graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (with distinction) from the University of Western Ontario in 1989. He received the University Gold Medal and completed a concurrent Master's Degree in Pathology. Dr. Al has worked in dental offices in Ontario and Nova Soctia. He has recently enjoyed every second he has been with the office so far!
He is passionate about providing all patients with dental treatment in the most relaxed method possible. He loves to explore the possibility of helping replace missing teeth and stabilizing loose dentures with Ceramic Implants. He is also excited to be introducing OrthoPulse a device that cuts orthodontic treatment time in half!
Amanda is a dental hygienist at Churchill Smiles Dentistry and has been with the office since has 2014. Amanda graduated from Regency Dental Hygiene Academy and is an active member of both the CDHO and the ODHA. Amanda is devoted to promoting health and wellness by educating her patients and providing an unforgettable relaxing appointment with her gentle approach. She strives to treat patients with the utmost level of care and sets reasonable goals for each and every patient. Amanda attends continuing education courses on a regular basis to expand her knowledge and skills by implementing them into everyday practice.
Outside of work, Amanda loves to spend time with her family and friends, loves to bake, and travel.
Lindsay is a dental hygienist at Churchill Smiles Dentistry and has been with the office since 2007. Lindsay is a dental hygiene coach and practitioner, which means she keeps informed of best oral health practices. She applies this knowledge to each patient and ensures they receive the best treatment for their specific needs.
Outside of work, Lindsay spends quality time with her family and friends, and enjoys outdoor activities.
Saeward is a dental hygienist at Churchill Smiles Dentistry and has been working in the dental field since 2003. In 2004 Saeward graduated as a dental assistant from George Brown College and in 2009, she graduated with honours as a dental hygienist from Canadian College of Dental Health. She now uses her knowledge of dental assisting to help answer questions and any dental concerns. Saeward works well with the general average patient, anxious patients, children, and patients who have years of tartar to scale off their teeth. Saeward enjoys to complete continuing education courses/seminars.
Outside of work, Saeward likes to watch movies, read novels, try new dinner recipes, and play with her son.
Alya is the first point of contact for the Churchill Smiles Patients. She has over 30 years of experience in Dental Office Management and Dental Assisting. She has university level education in computer sciences, a Dental Assisting diploma from Seneca College as well as Certification in Dental Practice Management from the University of Toronto. She is also a member of the Program Advisory Committee at George Brown College. Alya prides herself on her outstanding patient service skills and strives to help patients with all their needs. The most gratifying part of her job is providing a warm and caring environment for patients so that their visit is always an exceptional and positive experience.
In her spare time, Alya enjoys spending time with her family, reading, walking and swimming.
